Published rates from five WA group tuition providers and four private tuition providers serving WA, checked 12 October 2026. Package discounts and promotional offers are included; subjects and inclusions vary.
Pricing sources
Ranges cover the providers reviewed. Group rates are hourly equivalents for regular secondary tuition, including multi-subject packages. The lowest ATAR rate is a founding-student offer with three or more subjects. Private rates cover online and in-person tuition, including a six-hour package. Holiday courses, mentoring add-ons and supervised study sessions are excluded. Two providers offer both group and private tuition.
Aventus rates are per paid teaching hour. The lowest Years 7–10 rate requires three subjects; discounted ATAR rates require two or more. Prices and offers may change.
Small classes. Individual support. With no more than six students and 90 minutes together, we make time to check your child’s work, adapt our explanations and give feedback they can use. It’s the personal attention families value in one-to-one tuition, within a small group.

These introductory term prices cover a 10-week teaching program per subject: one free trial week and nine paid weeks. Each class is 1.5 hours. The hourly rate is calculated from the 13.5 paid hours per subject, not the free week. Ask us for a written quote for a shorter term, a late start or a returning-student enrolment.
Who receives the 10% discount?+
One student taking two or more subjects receives 10% off the standard package total. One-subject plans do not receive the discount. Years 7–10 also have lower standard hourly rates as the subject count increases. The discount applies to either of the agreed payment arrangements for eligible plans.
Can we pay in instalments?+
For two or more subjects, choose an agreed upfront payment in Weeks 2–4, or four instalments due in Weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8. Please arrange this with us before enrolment. The total stays the same; a final instalment may differ by a few cents. One-subject plans are paid upfront and do not include the instalment option.
Can siblings receive a discount?+
Possibly. Sibling arrangements are considered individually at Aventus’s discretion. Have a chat with us about your family and we’ll confirm any offer in writing. The calculator does not automatically apply a sibling discount or combine subjects across children.
What does 24/7 tutor support mean?+
The three-subject plan includes a channel for sending your study questions at any time. It is not a promise of instant replies around the clock. We’ll explain your tutor’s support hours and communication arrangements when you enrol.
Which ATAR subjects can my child take?+
Year 11 and Year 12 classes cover Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist, Physics, Chemistry and English ATAR. Tell us your preferred subjects and times so we can confirm availability and a suitable class.
What happens if we miss a class or need to withdraw?+
A missed class is charged in full. For an approved valid reason, such as illness or a serious family emergency, we charge 50% of that class’s agreed fee. Contact us as soon as possible. If we cancel the class, different arrangements apply. Read the attendance and cancellation policy.
